Point Five: Let The Process Work (Leave Your Work Alone)

They also serve who only stand and wait. (John Milton, 1652)

At some point, after you've done everything right, you've got to trust your beer to brew itself. It started out as your baby, but now it's in fourth grade and it can walk to school all on its own. If you stand and breathe over your beer-in-process, you'll only end up giving it your germs.

Perfectionism and worry (don't they go hand in hand?) are the two gremlins here. They are both seriously limiting static mind matrices. If you are in touch with your Kinetic Human Core, you know that a state of perfection is impossible. Excellence, on the other hand, is not only possible, but you can have it in an instant and keep it going ceaselessly. Excellence, like life itself, is a dynamic process. Trans-Biological Kinesis is excellence. And it is our birthright.

There come times when you have to stand back from your project and let it work. The wise innovator uses this time for reflection, for data gathering, or even to plan another project. Nervous and worried tinkering with something that's not broken in the first place has derailed many an ambitious project. Sometimes, nervous energy wells up inside and you feel you've got to “do something.” But that desire is itself a limiting, mechanistic box. It's like “falling in love with love” and then finding somebody to love; you're in for trouble because of poor concept and poor planning. It's a crime to drink a good beer or a fine wine before its time.

Patience is not called a virtue for nothing. The Kinetic Human Core presupposes brilliance in all of us, and we do have it, but dealing with reality does require patience. We're talking about a sophisticated, wise patience. It implies intelligently-directed perseverance. It is mature in that it doesn't require instant results. It is not merely an excuse for procrastination.

You need to create a good relationship with time, because you'll be managing precious time in every effort you make to actualize your success. Time doesn't always take kindly to being pushed. As Trans-Biological Kinesis puts you in touch with your heart, it will connect you with a more advanced concept of time. Through creative experience, perhaps through trial and error, you can learn to manage your own time when it is short, and also take advantage of time when you seem to have too much of it on your hands.
