Chapter 5: SAVE
5.00   Cash is Still King

It's hard to decide which is more important to a successful life: making money or keeping it. Without good solid cash flows, you can't do much investing, can you? But without a lifelong strategy to make your money increase, you'll just be working to see it all slip away. Money in the bank gives you freedom. You'll have the freedom to make more money because you'll be able to take advantage of opportunities that require quick, flexible cash. But you'll also have the opportunity to make less money, if you ever want to take that route. In a personal emergency, or in case of illness, cash means the difference between comfort and ruin.

Cash is king, but you don't accumulate cash without a plan. This chapter covers ten basic strategies and attitudes you can use if you want to maximize your lifelong financial health.
