7.00 Questions To Resolve Early

Your attitude towards society and society's attitude towards you are important factors in your success. The world out there may seem a strange thing at times. You can't let it rule you, yet you can't ignore it. Sometimes when you stand back to look at the outside world you convince yourself it makes perfect sense. At other times it seems totally insane.

When we talk about society, we're talking about more than the government, more than universities and television networks. We're talking about collections of attitudes, traditions, ways of viewing life, culture, and morality. Included are the entire collection of things you grew up thinking you ought to do. Somewhere there are role models you followed or rejected. What counts is the way you decide to swim in this sea: your strategy for existing in the world.
